How to calculate Daily Value percentages for supplements?

Daily Value (DV) percentages show how much a nutrient contributes to the recommended daily intake. The formula is:

DV% = (Amount per serving ÷ FDA Daily Value) × 100

For example:
- Vitamin C: 60 mg per serving, FDA DV = 90 mg → (60 ÷ 90) × 100 = 67%

- Calcium: 200 mg per serving, FDA DV = 1,300 mg → (200 ÷ 1,300) × 100 = 15%

ReguSift auto-calculates DV percentages using the latest FDA reference values (21 CFR 101.9). Learn more about DV calculations.
